I am building a test 7 iron of either the TS3 or TS1-IM. It is hard to decide which one.
I take decent divots and am generally a high spin player. Should I be worried about the TS3 spinning too much? Is that an obvious point for the TS1 IM?
I do not want to add more spin to my game as it seems I have plenty.

I spun the TS3 about 200 RPM more than the TS1 IM using the same shafts, grip, ball on a GC2. My 7 iron swing speed is 95 mph. So I dont think spin was too much of a factor. But I also wouldn’t say the TS3 spins too high, the TS1 IM just spins slightly less.
Every player is different and every player hitting different clubs can get different spin numbers that may or may not be what you would expect. In theory I believe you would spin the TS1-IM less, but that might not be the case. In testing, there was no noticeable spin difference between the two that I noticed. Again, every player is different. Spin is difficult to validate even with today’s best launch monitors. Small variances are considered insignificant. Only way to know for sure is to test against each other with same spec clubs and ball, and not sure that is something you want to do. Loft is the biggest factor and the lofts are similar, although the TS1-IM has slightly more loft on the 5,6,and 7 irons only. So, kind of a toss-up without testing. If I had to guess, I would say the TS1-IM would be more likely to spin less, everything else being equal.
