My current irons have Projext X Cypher 5.0 shafts. My SW and LW have the old FST Revolution shafts. I consistently hit those wedges more solidly than the rest of my irons. I realize the shorter length has something to do with that (all my irons are 1/2″ short). Can the extra weight of the steel shafts help drop my hands properly at the top of the backswing vs. the lighter weight graphite which I tend to cast?

That being said, I am considering the FST 90 for my next set because they are high launch.

I’d appreciate some feedback.

again thinking out loud…
could be because of the weight, but also it may be because you don’t hit full hard shots into the green with your wedges (SW, LW).
