The plus 4 means 4 extra wraps. That being said, it depends on the build up tape you’re using and how thick it is. If you use the two sided tape for your build up tape, it would take less. Also if you use build up tape that is .010 thick vs .015, it would take more. So, if you want just a top of my head guess, probably more like 3 wraps of a .010 build up or two wraps of a .015 build up or the two sided tape. Best thing to do is do one complete and go by your feel. If at first it’s not enough, you can pull the grip off and add another.
One other thing. It also depends on the core size of the grip and the butt diameter of the shaft and butt taper rate of the shaft you’re putting it on. So keep that in mind as well.

Your ‘guess’ was spot on and that’s why you get the big bucks. I made the shaft diameter for the bottom hand .630″ and worked well. (2) wraps is what I have done in the past when offering to increase the bottom hand. Thanks for the help.
