Just a baseline qestion. Without any weights whatsoever. What is the swing weight of a 6 iron TE forged, standard length. This would include the lamkin grip. Mines coming in a C8 which feels a little light. I’ve moved from graphite to steel. Many thanks.

You really need a swing weight scale, and then dry fit, and check.

Is it a KE or TE? A typical 6 iron head is ~261g.

Bill,

It’s gonna depend on both the weight of the grip and shaft. At 50g and 115g, you’ll weigh in at around D1.

Bob, i can’t understand why I’ve got something close to a C6 swing weight. I’m using a standard lamkin grip, a regular project 5. I have not weighed the KE clubhead. I’ll have to check my arithmetic.
