the third wedge by golf works whats the loft and whats the head made of?
The BC version came out in 1988 and was approximately 15% heavier. The Carbon Steel and the BC were both cast and then ground to final weight. One of the guys here that worked here when these came out said the BC profile was actually a little smaller than the carbon steel version, but the sole was fractionally wider, from what he remembers. BC is heavier, so even though it was 15% heavier, they had to grind it down to get it to that weight. The finish was created by simply taking the head, put in our large tumbler and then spraying it with a clear coat. The finishing was actually done here at The Golfworks. As far as the grooves, we’re not sure, probably the standard V groove of the time.

thanks for the info, do you know what kind of grooves were they u grooves? any more info about the wedge ? how about the color of the head I didn’t think cast carbon would give off the bronze color, the weight seems quite heavy and the grind looks like a s grind with a wider sole .
