Hello forum,

I’m considering building a “thriver” setup. I recently tested my wife’s 12° draw-biased driver head with my 3-wood shaft (both Cobras), and it showed some promise—helped eliminate the right miss and gave me about 220–230 yards. I like the concept of a mini driver, but the price tags are a bit steep.

Right now, I’m looking at either the ISO-T 11.5° or the M890 14° head, paired with an MPF Pro fairway shaft at 43 inches. Ideally, I’d go with the 12° M890 driver head, but it’s currently out of stock.

This club will be replacing my 3-wood and primarily serving as a secondary tee option. My 7-wood is already my go-to for off-the-deck shots.

Any thoughts on which head might be the better fit?

Thanks!
