I’ve not had the occasion yet to use SteelFiber shafts, and was wondering what is the suggested way to prep their tips?
Thanks as always
The taper tip Steelfiber shafts have 1.5″ of the tip unpainted, so just a little light sanding to rough it up would be all that is necessary. On the .370 parallel tip shafts, we simply prep them like any other shafts by simply roughing up the tip. You do not need to remove the steelfiber portion of the tip, but just need to make sure the appropriate a amount of the tip is sanded to roughen and then wiped clean of residue.
