I have a set of Recoil Prototype 125 F4 (.355) shafts that I’ll be building up (soft stepped) with the TS1-IM’s, but I’m going to need to tip weight several of them in order to get to the swing weight I want. I know I’ll need to bore out the tips, but what are the sizes (L, W, H) of the tip weights for the graphite shafts like mine so I can be sure to get the proper bits if I don’t have them? Is there any advice for how to properly and safely drill out the tips so I don’t damage the shafts?

just curious about the thread and wondering if I’m understanding it correctly.
Your soft stepping the shafts, which i believe will make for a longer shaft which would increase swingweight, if you trim them for the correct length, this would decrease the swingweight, so your back to where you started from.
you mentioned you know you will need to add tip weights to increase the swing weight. by adding the tip weight you will increase the length by about a quarter of an inch which will increase the swing weight, as will the added grams from the tip weight itself.
I know the TS1-IM’s have a small port to except the .355 tips, and i read the following from Jim regarding the GW0105, that the lead weights should fit within that port as will the GW0121 (tungsten rubber – love these!).
Guess my question is why did you need to drill (other than opening up the tips in the shafts to clear the epoxy from used shafts).
Apologize for rambling…

I’m looking for some graphite shaft tip weights that will fit a .355″ taper tip Recoil Dart 75g F3 shaft. Any recommendations? I need 4g up to 8g weights.

These lead tip weights for graphite shafts will fit the Recoil Dart 75 F3 graphite shafts. The GW0121 Rubber Tungsten Tip weights will also fit these shafts.
