I have a TaylorMade 5 wood with a Fujikura 70 Pro shaft with shaft adapter.
I would like to re-trim for my Maltby Hyway.
Would T.M. differ from Fuji’s recommended tipping, because they are using a shaft adapter?

I have no idea how TM would tip trim the shaft for their #5 wood. if the head weights of the #5 wood and the Hyway your using are similar, I would not worry about tip trimming anything more. If the Hyway head is heavier, you might tip trim a little more, but you have to know how much parallel tip length you have remaining to trim. You have to have at least 1.5 inches to be able to have the shaft go all the way to the bottom of the hosel. Safest thing to do is not to tip trim any more.
