I currently play the TS3’s and use the included gap wedge from the set (48 degrees). I also have 52, 56, and 60 degree wedges. I’m going to pick up some of the DRT wedges, but not sure if I should keep a similar setup to what I have, or is that too many wedges? The 52 I’ve been using mostly for full swings and rarely around the greens if I really want a shot to roll out. I really like the 60 degree and use it quite often, so I don’t want to lose that. The 56 I would consider my do-it-all type wedge as I occasionally use it for full swings, use it around the greens, bunkers, etc. I was thinking 52 in the G grind, 56 in the A, and 60 in the A or S. Does that make sense? Open to other suggestions.

It makes sense. The most important thing is to have the right loft progressions, and with the 48, 52, 56 and 60 you have that covered. I play the PW in the TS4 set, the 48 G grind and the 52 and 56 in either the S grind or the A grind, depending on the turf conditions I am playing. I don’t need a 60 because I can hit any shot I need with the 56. Neutral to firm turf I use the S grind and neutral to soft I use the A grind. The grind and sole should be dependent on two things, the turf conditions and your attack angle. Are you steep (A grind), shallow (S grind), average (either). As long as you factor in those elements, and have your distance gaps covered, you should be set.
