Hello,

Been going back and forth on what iron to get. I just got fit and the two irons that I liked the most based on feel and look were the p790 and titleist t200. Any idea which of these is most similar to those? I’ve heard amazing things about the ts3, but I’m worried it will be chunkier than I want. Can anyone give a number on the top line thickness for these clubs and how they compare? Thanks!

The P790 from 2024 is .242″ top line width. The Titleist T200 is odd in that the actual width is .281″, but the way they radius it and finish the topline, splitting it with mirror chrome and bead blast, it looks thinner. If I just measure the bead blasted or brushed chrome part from the leading edge, which is mostly what you see, it is .197″. The TS3 is .261″. The TS4 is .211″ and the TS1-IM is .233″.

Wow, that was very helpful to know thanks! The pictures make the Ts3 look larger than that. I was trying to look up the sole width and the Ts3 and Taylormade p790 are nearly the name ~20mm. So of the 3 clubs the ts3 appears to present the most similar to the p790. Purely speaking on dimensions.
