How does the TS-2 club head feel in actual play on the course? Compared to the STi2 for example, or even the M890? Does it feel soft or hard, or in between? How’s the sound? Clear or muted? Any opinions?

The TS-2 is a True Forged head manufactured with 1025C Carbon Steel and a polymer injected in the #3thru #9 irons. The feel and sound are as solid and pure as you will find. Of course, since we are the designers any opinion I have will seemed bias. However, I am a player first and I would not put a club in the market unless it met our feel and sound standards, which are pretty high. Of course everyone feels and hears things differently, so the only way to know for sure is to hit it yourself. The STi2 and M890 are extremely stable heads as well and manufactured from a heat treated 431 stainless steel. The heat treatment that is done makes them feel more like a carbon steel, which is a softer metal. It is important to understand that the mass dimensional characteristics of the design have as much to do wit how a club feels as the material. A stable, highly playable design will, for most players, feel more solid and have a better sound than a design that is not stable or has a lower playability.
