Hello, I played forged cavity back irons that had a pre-worn leading edge for 12 years, 2 years ago I decided to try new technology from same manufacturer and bought their sleek looking hollow head forged design. It was then that I discovered I am steep, because I find myself getting stuck in the turf with their sharp leading edge.  I just received the TS1-IM and TS 3 that I had built and turf interaction is much better in one range session.  So far, I am loving Maltby.  Both clubs felt great, but I know TS3 has lower vcog.  I was thinking they would be easier for me to hit, but since I am steep…I seem to hit more thin shots that I did with the TS1-IM.  I appreciate the physics behind golf, but am looking more for an iron that is point and shoot and I don’t need to think about.  Based on the fact that I am a decent ball striker (9 handicap, 105-110mph driver swing speed with quick, aggressive tempo), but tend to get steep with irons, will the TS1-IMs with slightly higher vcog be a better choice in the long run for my swing type?  Appreciate any insights from Britt or anyone else.  Thanks!

Thanks Britt, appreciate the advice. Going to do a little more testing before I order! But am confident that I have 2 great options!
