Hi there,

I am highly considering either the TS1-IM or TS4. I know the best thing to do would be get one of each and test or come to the warehouse for a fitting, but hoping for a little insight prior.

Some context: I used to be good in high school, now I’m more like a 10 hcp in my 30’s. I still hit the ball a mile but I’m humbly less consistent and my short game is nothing to be desired (far less practice as a young dad). I’m still playing my old Mizuno MP-32’s which I feel like I am not good enough for anymore. I’d love a little more forgiveness while also having some characteristics of a players iron such as a lower penetrating trajectory.

Both TS1-IM and TS4 have very similar MOI and PF ratings. Reviews I’ve read on here or other forums suggests that the TS1-IM is a little more forgiving, and I like the idea and benefits of the hollow forged technology.

Finally arriving at my main question: I would intuitively think that the TS1-IM would have a higher ball flight, but it appears that the COG is actually higher in the TS1-IM, which might suggest a lower trajectory. Do you have any information or even anecdotal feedback on trajectory for either of these two clubs? I know shafts play a big factor, I’d likely put X100’s or similar in either.

Thank you!

Dan
