Currently play Ping G5 with CS-Lite regular flex shafts. Recently was fitted at PXG. Best hits were with 0311XP Gen7 with Elevate 95 shaft in regular. We only tried three shafts and the only graphite option was an oversize grip which was not a good fit for me but might have been with a midsize grip. After looking through MPF, am I right in saying that the TS3 would be a good match and similar to my current heads?

How does the Score shaft and the shafts in the graphite pak compare to the Elevate 95?

TS3 is a great model and probably our best seller right now. All of the others are selling pretty well too.

The Score is a little heavier than the Elevate 95, but both are considered High trajectory lightweight steel shafts. The Score is a great choice and the best value in a steel shaft available. The Score and the Elevate MPH 95 are similar in profile and could play similarly. not a lot of difference when comparing overall profiles.

The Kuro Kage graphite iron shaft in the PAK, assuming that is the one you were referring to, is similar in profile, with the exception of the tip section which is a little firmer. Being graphite, it’s difficult to compare how it would compare to a steel. It will feel different no doubt. Playing characteristics indicate it is more of a mid trajectory, but it is also significantly lighter than the steel. That could help with speed, which can help with distance and trajectory.

The MPF Pro Series+ shafts are great, in my opinion. We redesigned for this year and I think made them better. Definitely more true to flex. The previous generation played stiffer. If there is a weight and flex option in that model that you believe might work, it might be worth a try. Could always order a #7 iron to try first before investing in the entire set. It does add a little to the overall expense, but not that much and prevents spending for the entire set and then finding out they don’t work.
