Hi Britt,

I was just wondering if there was any launch monitor data or real world data you could provide to compare the TS3 to the TS3.5? I know the TS3.5 will have stronger lofts than the TS3 but also different construction. I definitely plan on jumping on a set with either the pro+ or score shafts once they release. I feel they will fit my current abilities a little better. Just trying to get a feel of the actual difference such as spin, launch, decent, and carry when similar shafts and golf balls are used. Thanks!

The major factor in spin, launch, carry and decent is the loft. Of course the type of ball, shaft, club head speed, attack angle of the player, etc. matter as well. So any comparative data we could list would be exclusive to the player doing the testing and not necessarily THE general rule for comparing the two models.

In our testing, the feel of both is incredible. If I had to generalize my experience and some of our staff we use to test, the TS3.5 is 1/2 to a full club longer and a few said they thought it felt a little softer. I thought the feel was similar to the TS3 (both feel like the true carbon steel forging they are). Interestingly, even though the TS3.5 has less loft and was longer, we did not see any real noticeable reduction in the launch or trajectory. Little different look at address, little wider sole on the TS3.5, which can lend itself to being slightly more turf friendly.

That’s about all the comparison I can give you now. Hopefully that helps.

Thanks for that. Sounds like they will be another hit for sure. Would you say the TS3.5 feels similar to the new XC2 or XC3?
