What is the projected date for TS4 DBM to be available for order?
Currently game the TS4s and love them! I know DBM is one of if not the best durable black finishes in the industry, but as somebody who hits on an at home sim just about every day and driving range multiple times a week are upgrading to the DBMs a wise choice? Will they hold up to that much usage finish wise?
They have shipped so we expect them in the next few weeks.
As far as the durability, the DBM is the most durable black finish. It will hold up as well as any black finish. My experience playing the original TE Black for 5 years back when they first came out was it stood up very well. My Tour Series+ Wedges did the same. So I am confident the TS4 and the TS3 versions will be the same. The samples we received and tested have been great, although we don’t have thousands of hits on them, we do have hundreds and they are good. Sandy turf, rocks, etc. obviously will be worse, but still thy should hold up better than any other black finish available.

As a follow up, if I have y’all tweak the lofts I assume y’all take all precautions to ensure there are no marring or tool marks to the black finish?
I had the lofts adjusted on my TE+ DBM order and they look pristine. The finish is durable but not impervious to marring. Take care at golf ranges with sandy turf.

DBM is the only durable finish. You can find many industrial uses for it, but under differnt names, such as Diamond Like Carbon (DLC). That other treatment called something like Carbon Oxide, you can also do at home, but it dont last 5 mins.
My DBM irons are 11 years old i did replace 8 and 9 because they got beat up a bit due to practice. Now they all look the same again.
