Hello, I’m wondering when the TS4 PW will be back in stock? I’m looking at building a combo set TS4 and TE+.

Also a follow up question, I know it’s subjective but are the TS1 IMs “Hot” how would you compare the distance benefit. I’m trying to get away from anything that really jumps off the face to get better distance control. Any insight on this would be helpful as I prefer the look and shape of the TS1 IM and may just change my mind and build a full set of those.

You may just have to try the TS1-IM #6 iron as well and compare. Results can vary from player to player, but I think you will find that they both perform at a high level. One may feel a little different than the other for some players and for some there may be a slight difference in ball flight. I did not notice any ball flight variance, nor did a few others around here that compared. Both great clubs.

Looks like the PW’s shipped 9/18/2024. I would give it a couple of more weeks before they arrive.

Our experience in testing the TS1-IM was that they wee extremely solid, great sound, accurate and appropriate distances for each loft and no anomalies related to distance. In other words, we did not experience any jumpers. I have played the TS4’s all summer and occasionally took out the TS1-IM’s and personally found no difference in the distance performance. Even the very slightly loft variation on some of irons did not change the club I hit from certain distances. for instance, I hit my 6 iron 175-180. TS4 has 29.5 deg. of loft on the 6, the TS1-IM has 29 deg. Noticed no difference. Pulled the same clubs no matter what set I was using.

Hope this helps. Can’t go wrong with either in my biased opinion.

That’s very interesting making my decision even harder lol. I have a 6 iron TS4 ordered so I’ll give that a test and see how I feel about the feel.

It’s cool how different the maltby family of irons are.. at first glance I thought TS4 and TS1 IM combo set would be perfect but after finding this forum I understand that’s not the case… it’s so crazy that a MB can perform the same more or less has a hollow body iron.

You guys are really up to something special!
