Hi Britt,

I’m currently playing MMB17 for a while. Love them but I fell in love with the new TS4’s :)

I have few questions…

I currently use Apollo Shadow Lite Steel shafts, which are listed 115g on hireko website. Do you think the true temper score in the TS4 pak will be a good replacement ?
I hit the ball around 160 yards with my 7iron (with MMB17 lofts being a little weaker compared to the TS4).
If you compare these shafts to DG 120 for example, would the difference be huge ? in terms of feel and ball flight ? I wonder if it worth it.
Is is possible to get “golfpride CPX midsize grips” instead of the stock grip of the pack ?

Since I do not have the Apollo shaft specs to compare, I can’t say for sure if the Score will be similar. I can say the Score is a solid value priced choice that should perform well. It plays true to flex when trimmed, meaning the R flex and the S flex are right on the averages for all R flex and S flex shafts. Not too firm and not too flexible. A DG 120 is a low trajectory shaft and will play firmer. If you want a similar weight, you might look at the Nippon Pro Modus 115 or the KBS Tour Lite if you want more of a premium offering. I like the Score and it works well for a lot of folks. It is made by True Temper and was a stock steel shaft (under a different name) for many years for a major OEM brand. It was made available to us a few years ago and we re-branded it and continue to do very well with it. It plays well and while I can’t speak to the quality of the Apollo, I know the Score has excellent quality and performance for the price.

As far as substituting the CPX midsize grips into a PAK, you can do that. Just call us or let us know through e-mail the details and one of our reps should be able to take care of it for you, give you the adjusted pricing, etc.
