I want to build a combo set utilizing the TS4 from 6-P. However, I’m not certain if the TS1-IM or TE+ V4 in the 4-5 spot would be best. Ideally the profile and feel would be as close to the TS4 as possible. My goal with the combo set is to maintain as much peak height as possible, and ball speed on off center strikes.
Either the TS1-Im or the TE+ could work, but you might want to also consider the TS3 for the 4 and 5. Same lofts in all three models, basically, at 22 for the #4 and 25 (25.5 for the TS1-IM) for the #5. The TS4 has 29.5 for the #6, so the progression would still work. The reason I mention the TS3 is simply because it has the lowest actual vertical cg and if your focus is on maintaining a higher trajectory on the longer irons, that might be something to consider. Personally, I use the FDI driving irons in the #3 and #4 with my TS4’s (5 thru PW).

Side question. Why do you use .5* lofts on certain heads creating 3.5* gaps vs more “traditional” 4* gap? Also, I see the bounce is relatively low too. Is there a design advantage to low bounce in irons. Still trying to overcome PTSD from playing low bounce lob wedges :) .
