I am playing Callaway X-Forged 2013 irons with KBS C-Taper X-Stiff shafts, soft stepped by one. I know I have a number of swing flaws/faults causing me inconsistent ball striking, typically poor setup and address, rocking from front to back among others that cause me to not get solid contact & pull/hook my shots.

I have read the spine aligning (puring) can improve ball striking by aligning the shaft to the correct plane and removing some of the inherent mechanical changes in the shaft during a golf swing, and keeping those changes to a minimum.

Is this a benefit to someone who has my swing faults (no magical cure I know, I still have to practice) and is looking at the setup of his equipment to help combat some of these issues on the course?
