What does it mean when it has a #6 next to the name of the irons?
When we first started the MPF testing we tested 5 iron. We actually purchased all those 5 irons. When we became a part of Golf Galaxy we could 6 irons from their old fitting carts and we changed to testing 6 irons. These days we get the 6 irons directly from the manufactures. The clubs that do not have the #6 are 5 irons.
Assuming you are talking about the club MPF charts… The 6 means that they measured the 6 iron for that club.
