Why can’t Maltby come out with a 10 year anniversary model of the 250 driver? Many of us still play the 2008 model. It’s the best driver I’ve ever had.
It has crossed our mind from time to time. Not as simple as you might think. It would have to be re-tooled as the original tools do not exist anymore. Would most likely be manufactured at a different factory. Still, might do it someday, who knows.
I also think the 350 bore( instead of a 335) makes the head so stable. I’ve matched mine with a grafalloy epic nanofuse 68 gram shaft from the same era. I found one on eBay that had never been used. I hit it straighter and longer than the M2, M4 and Ping G 400. Plus , it’s cut to 45” so it’s shorter and a little heavier than many drivers on the market. The head is so solid and consistent. I’d love to see what Maltby could do with an updated version.
Funny you should say that. My brother still plays that model. It was the longest club I have ever assembled and I gave it to hit many many years ago. He wins long drive in every tourney he plays in still.
