Hey Britt,
I bought a Maltby KE4 IST 5 wood pak (XS MPF shaft) a couple months ago from you guys, standard length is 42 inches. I swapped out the 8gm weight for a 14gm weight and have a standard Star sidewinder grip on it (47gms). I was fitted by Chris -1/4 on my irons (KE4 Max) last year and I’m thinking of shortening the 5 wood length 1/4 inch to 41 3/4 inches. How will this effect SW and should I even be worried about that?
I also have a 4 utility at 39 inches, thinking of cutting that down 1/4 to 38 3/4 to blend better with the rest of the irons (same Star sidewinder grip at 47gms). My swing is steeper, so think it will help not hit as many shots fat.
I’m 5’10 for reference, what are your thoughts on making these changes?
Thanks Britt
