I have just purchased and older Malby design loft/lie machine. I see all kinds of tutorials on using the new fancy machines but have not been able to locate any information on using the older design. Any tutorials or information would be much appreciated.

I have the same unit in my shop. Make sure you bolt it to the floor and it is level is all directions. If you have the magnetic angle devise, looks like a giant compass, I would find a digital angle devise that has a magnetic base. Far more accurate.

remember this is for bending irons for loft and lie.
Do not depend on it for measuring loft and lie angles, you would need a loft/lie measuring gauge for that.
