I am trying to ream a set of Ping S55 irons to .370.  I am having problems getting the reamer to take out any metal.  Is there something about ping irons that make reaming harder? I am using the Golfworks reamer that I have used in the past with no problems.

I used my drill press at very slow speed and a spiral fluted reamer. A lot of oil, a Frick mess. I did this on ping ete 2’s which are 431 stainless. Your S55’s are 17-4, which are a bit harder.
I’ve done 17-4 in the past and it’s tough.
Take your time and you’ll get it done. After the pings, I raised my price :-)
