I currently own a set of TS3 irons in 7-AW. I’m thinking about having the KE4 Max irons in 4-6 made with lofts to match the TS3’s I currently own. Seeing as the KE4 Max irons are supposed to be a little more forgiving and easier to hit my thought is they could better suit me in the longer irons. Should I have any concern in the lofting gaps or does anyone have a recommendation for loft adjustments?

as long as your swing speed can handle the lower lofts, I think it’s a good choice.

You would need to weaken the lofts of the KE4 MAX by 2 degrees to limit any gap issues. Or, you can strengthen the lofts of the TS3 by 1 degree and weaken the MAX irons by 1 degree to accomplish the same thing. The TS3’s are also very forgiving in the long irons, so you might consider just going with them. Yes, the Max irons are more forgiving, but the TS3’s are high Super Game Game Improvement irons (849 MPF points vs 959 for the MAX). 110 points might make the Max a little more forgiving, but not a drastic difference.

Thanks to everyone for the reply! I think I’ll probably just complete the set since I won’t need any adjustments and go with the TS-3’s. Now to start looking for woods/hybrids.
