I’m ready to place an order for one of the newer TS models you offer, but I believe I’ve over analyzed things.

As a 19 hcp with decent (but improving) iron play, would the TS1-IM be out of my league and be suggested for the better, more consistent players? The MPF # and the design of the TS3 seems more in line with my current skill level, but I’ve read the low COG might be punishing towards those who can get a little steep and dig. I have no issue with ball then turf contact, but I do generally hit a little high on the face.

I plan to play this set for the next few years as I continue to improve. I’m looking forward to it. The new line up of irons are beautiful!

I went through the same things a few years back. I was a 16-18 at the time and wanted the TS1s. I was playing Ping GMax irons – MPF over 900. The TS1s are just over 700. A local club builder fit me and built the TS1s. I can’t explain it, but my ball striking improved quickly and today I’m a 9 between the clubs and some work. I think the smaller head actually helped me find closer center strikes. The only thing I believe I gave up in forgiveness is a few yards loss on toe hits, but overall there’s no doubt I’m better off with the TS1s. TS1-IM or TS3 will both serve you well.
