Hi Guys – I picked up an old Wilson Sam Snead Signature 6 iron from a thrift shop barrel.  I thought I’d clean it up and fool around hitting an old blade.  It appears to be circa 1970 ish.  One of my first sets of clubs was Wilson blades and they had these same leather ‘reminder grips’ with a flat area under the heel pad of the left hand.  I love the feel of these things!  I haven’t seen them in decades.  Are they now illegal or too expensive to make/sell.  Any idea of why they went away?  (Just a nerd curiosity)
