Does Golfworks use tip weights in club assembly? I have an MMB-17 DBM gap wedge which has muted guitar string sound when tapped on the ground. Perhaps it’s a loose tip weight. The other irons in the set are fine.

When necessary to achieve a desired swing weight we will use tip weighting. The rattle sound you hear might be that, or could be something else. Hard to tell without taking a look. Best think is it either pull the head and re-epoxy yourself, or send it to us so we can evaluate and get it fixed. 99.9% of the time if we pull it and re-epoxy, the issue is solved.
