I have the TE and previous iterations, the MMB, MMB-17, MMB-17 DBM and various other Maltby irons including the TE+ DBM aka TE+ V4 black. The TE+ looks like the MMB-17 at address with similar performance.

Have a look at the M890 h5 28* hybrid. By adjusting the head weight and the total length, it should be possible to fill the distance gap between the 5i and 24* hybrid.
