The most forgiving for me has been the KE4 Max. If your looking for feel which is always subjective, the TS line up. The TE+ is also a very nice head.
Sent you a PM Gw-Canuck
Chux. I’ve been there. I’ll comment on graphite in a moment. I gradually went down in weight with the Nippon shafts. You may find something in the Nippon line. They’ve come out with an ultra light...
While waiting for the Canadian site to get updated I browsed the catalogue from the Canadian site. Found the older Maltby graphite shafts and the price. I gather that’s the old price for the older model...
Britt and all the above. Any updates on this. I really need some prices on the Maltby shafts. The shafts aren’t even shown. - Bill
Thanks Britt. Very helpful.
I’ve got some older heads that I have to bore to .370. Do I use the .355 reamer for this or the .370 reamer listed on the Canadian site. I might purchase the hand chuck as well. I’ve never done this...
Well answered. Thx Britt
Thx Britt. What would be a good starting SW
At the end of the season I’m swapping out some steel shafts to graphite for a senior. I’ll be going with the Maltby iron regular flex for shafts. The heads will be weighed with 7 gram increments. id...
I’m waiting patiently as well. Want to buy some Maltby shafts.
I remember now 4 degrees affects the bounce of the club.
From what I’ve studied 2 degrees strong or weak is safe. 4 degrees even with a forged club such as yours might be a stretch. Real world though, I’ve strengthened a forged wedge 3 degrees strong.
Thank you! Unfortunately usually a call to the Canadian depot is possible. Often I like to show customers what a club or shaft looks like. Often I’ll take a screen shot of the American site and show...
It’s a Canadian website thing again. The new Pro+ series on Maltby shafts is not there. Could someone give me the Cnd pricing on the Pro+ iron shaft, as well as the fairway and driver. The US price on...
Maybe this will help. Quote from Golfworks on the new Maltby Pro shaft “They are totally new designs, not just a cosmetic change. Profiles are truer to the designated flex vs the previous version that...
Understood Britt. The tariff situation is happening everywhere. I haven’t seen an adjustable forged iron since the KE4 forged. Tremendous iron.
Britt - saw the forged model in the US catalogue, but not in the Canadian catalog. Instantly I fell in love with the look. Tremendous design in forged. Just amazing work. Maybe in Canada someday? - Bill
Ah! That’s making sense now. The older iron is the KE4 forged; so good I have two sets and if I find any more I’ll buy them. I’ll take one of the TS-1 apart and do some measurements.
Wanted to update a set of my irons. The iron that I had been playing is a forged model with a weight in the middle of the club. Terrific feel and my favourite model but the lofts were tradional. Memory...
