If someone was prone to striking it a bit high on the face, would bending the irons weak to increase the bounce be an effective way to raise the vertical cg a bit?

Hair dryer to warm it up. Grip solvent/goo-gone/denatured alcohol to loosen it up. Plastic scraper/putty knife as to not scratch up your graphite shaft. Some combination of the above should help you out.
