I'd buy TS4 in DBM in about six seconds.
I would describe the feel as very similar to a milled steel putter. The sound is a higher pitched milled putter but it's not very loud at all.
The Vokey V grind is very similar to the Tiger grind but it's only available as a custom option from Wedgeworks. The Callaway Z grind has an aggressive leading edge chamfer and they have a few other grinds...
Still looking like late 2024 for the new wedges?
A general rule of thumb I've heard from fitters is that your iron height should be roughly the same in feet as your driver swing speed is in mph. So if you swing driver at 100mph your irons should be in...
Shaft flex is the difference. The S300 is stiff flex and the X100 is xstiff.
One point of swing weight is roughly 2 grams on the head or 5 grams at the butt end of the club. A US nickle weighs 5 grams and a dime weighs 2.2 grams. Tape some nickles to the butt of your club and play...
Hybrids tend to have more distance for the loft than irons. A good rule of thumb I've heard is if your lowest lofted iron is 26° then have your hybrid the same loft or a degree or two stronger. If you...
I'm pretty sure that she's still on her Cobra deal but as Cobra doesn't make balls she was a free agent for those. Would be really cool to see a pro in a Maltby iron though. The TS4 would be a massive...
We'll have to disagree on the long putter thing and I think the anchoring ban is stupid but I can understand why they did it. I don't think there should be rules on how you can swing a club but rules around...
Ian Fraser from Club Champion, formerly of TXG, said that the 10k is a combination of the X and Y MOI. If you watch their YouTube video on the Ping G430 10k he goes into detail on it. He also wasn't overly...
Jim, what do you think about the LAB putters used as a broomstick putter that Adam Scott, Lucas Glover, and Will Z use? They don't have the same grip as the standard putters so the grip would go straight...
Awesome news that they will be making it here! I want a lower launching shaft than the Score LT and the FST looks to fit that market. Is there a chance that the Pro stepless versions are coming back?
Does GolfWorks have any plans of bringing the FST shafts to the Canadian site? There are very few inexpensive shaft options available in Canada and the FST shafts get great reviews.
The Cobra one adjusts for lie. But if you are running a fitting centre just having a loft and lie machine you can quickly use to adjust lie if needed.
Thanks for the info, Britt! I know that All-Fit claims that their iron adaptor is weight neutral but I don't know if it would change anything else about how the head works. I've called around to a few...
I have access to a Cobra fitting cart and Trackman through my course and I'm interested in trying out various shafts. Is it possible to get some iron fitting heads with the OEM adaptor? Like in the pictures...
Bill, I emailed GolfWorks Canada last week and they confirmed that they have the TS1-IM, TS3, and TS4 in stock but as Britt said there are website issues. I didn't ask about shafts but give them a call...
