Clubmaking Forum

discuss, ask and learn about golf and clubmaking

I love helping people "play better golf," whether through golf lessons, custom club fitting and set building, or by repairing their clubs. I have been trained by Jim Yachinich at three different schools at Golfworks. I am certified on the Mitchell Signature Angle and Putter Angle machines. I am also Titleist Performance Institute Certified.

Where to Buy a Workbench

If you're looking for a low cost bench, Harbor Freight has some pretty good ones for the price. I have had several of them in my shop for many years and they're fine. https://www.harborfreight.com/search?q=benches&category=2984&current=1

KE4 Tour+ – Newer Version

Hi, Nick. Interesting questions! Be sure that you have an "apples to apples" comparison regarding iron head weights. I don't know which "years past" models you're referring to, but remember that the...

Muskie, KBS has some of the best shafts in golf and I think you have assessed your need very well with your choice of the PGI80. It IS expensive, but you may find it worth it if it gives you the performance...

Muskie, first, with you CHS, you are definitely in the S flex range, however, if your tempo is slow to moderate, you can swing a solid R flex and get the best of both feel and good dispersion. If your...

May I suggest that you consider the ISO-T 11.5 degree head. It is a great head, is being discontinued and is at a great price. Since this head has a loft tolerance of +/- 1 degree, they may find one...
