Planning my bag for 2025. Do you have an estimate when the new Pro 9 wood and the 6 hybrid will be available. Also everyone is looking forward to the new wedges. Will all of these be ready for spring 2025?...
30 degrees loft, right? What is the weight?
Do you sell gift cards? I would rather ask Santa for a Golf Works gift card than a Visa card?
I hate the idea of 5 wedges. I think of my 44 deg. pw as just another iron and carry a 50 bent to 49 and a 54 and a 58. Now the only issue is which club the 54 or the 58 is my sand wedge. Right now neither...
This is really great news. I have the ist 3,5 & 7 and love the 7 plus I have some else's 9 wood. I still carry the KE 4 30 deg trouble out also.
Wouldn't the biggest difference between the hyway and the ist hybrids be the difference in the wood shaft vs the iron shaft? By the way myself and others would love to put a wood shaft in one of the ist...
That is a good question. Also, some of us use Maltby hybrids for our 4-5 irons and buy new models periodically. Also sometimes we use a standalone wedge instead of the set gap wedge and we buy these regularly...
Not knowing anymore than you have stated. I would go with what I would think are easier to hit and more functionable for your skill level. You have 13 clubs. So I would add a 17-18 degree wood and a 20-21...
Great to hear! Thanks.
Any thought to making these putters weight adjustable. They are heavy for me. But, I would love to try the 4 at a lower weight. Murv
Youngsters are extremely name brand oriented. So, I would go with a set of used clubs of his choice. Kids look in other kids bags to see what they are playing. If you can take him to a location with used...
Wow! Thanks for the quick reply and fix. Appreciate it greatly!
In the past I have been able to order 6-gw at the pac price as I use Maltby hybrids. Today I tried to order a Ts 3 pac with the kurokage shaft. And was told I must order the 4-gw as no changes are now...
You are probably measuring down the back of the shaft. The bench ruler is set up to measure down the middle of the shaft.
Using the Drexel may have a negative effect.
I've only done a couple of these and haven't noticed a problem. Both were for my personal use. But, I seem to remember the inside diameter being slightly large. The adapter seemed to go on fairly easy...
I used the Kuro Kage hbp shaft in a KE4 TC head and it works and feels just fine. Since I am old and in a quest to maintain distance, I build my drivers to 46". Usually I have to reduce weight in the head...
Many of these DTC offerings are very similar to each other. Almost like the DTC golf ball. Put your name and finish on a Orient house brand and you are in business. Maltby is a big exception to this though....
Do to slower swing speed, I went the other way. Used the A iron shafts in the TC hybrids. Checked it out with Jim. Worked great. Murv
Make sure you order a 2 gram weight to go with the head you choose and the lightest shaft possible or your swing weight will be E++. Order a one stiffer shaft due to the length. Don't order a light weight...
