I just put together a Titleist 983K together with a 43 1/2" shaft. Works great, at 300 cc (I think) is perfect. You can get those for next to nothing!

View QuestionShortening one inch drops the SW by 6 points. You would need 12 grams of weight added to the head to bring it back to original spec. That is a lot of lead tape. I personally like the shorter lighter driver...
