Thanks Britt!
Anybody know? Oldest info on the Maltby Cobra list is the 2000 Baffler Multi-Metals which has 355, but some of the other 2000 Cobra irons use 370. These Baffler Blades are older than 2000.
I've had this happen when using shafting beads before. I know others swear by them, but after multiple of these crackling sounds, and a few flying heads, I stopped using the beads.

Steel shafts can be pulled and reused no more than 652 times. Graphite - it all depends on how well it was prepared and pulled. I used a set of graphite shafts in 4 different sets of iron heads. But those...

Hard to beat the STi2 irons. Great heads at a great price. https://www.golfworks.com/maltby-sti2-iron-pak/p/pma0317/
I would also choose STi2 over either KE4 for a high handicapper.
I've done 3/8" on a couple of sets, it works fine. Like Duffer says, if your gaps work out, all is good.

All adapters that I have seen are made of metal. Many have the plastic ferrules on top that must be replaced. Some (Cobra, PXG) have the ferrule built into the adapter, so it is all metal and is the easiest...
Many adapters use a plastic ferrule, and those do get destroyed during heating. For those adapters, you do need to purchase a new ferrule to reinstall. It is the same process for ferrule install on a regular...
I believe this is the one
That's interesting. I switched to TSW after some RTX4. I found the RTX4 has much higher spin, especially on chips. I cannot get the TSW to spin much on chip shots. However, the TSW are much better on...
I'll provide my insight. I played a TS1 set for 18 months. About 4 months ago I switched to the STi2. I am a 4 hdcp. While I was perfectly happy with the TS1, the GW custom shop was running one of their...
There are spreadsheet swingweight calculators where you put in head weight, shaft weight, grip weight, clublength, additional tip weighting, etc. and a swingweight is calculated. In general, those calculators...
I love the ProSofts. I won't do steel without them. At age 56, I have made the switch to graphite. One suggestion, try a heavy weight graphite. I could not hit a <100 gram graphite shaft at all when...
That's curious, to me the TS1 sit up open. But my eyes and alignment generally suck. No distance issues for me. As for the feel, I play them in 110gm graphites, and they feel great. Few things feel like...
