If it is broken off at top of hosel just squirt some WDD40 down and leave it overnight then hit it with the propane torch and should come out easily. Sometimes they are rusted in the hosel.

GolfWorks did it in Beryllium copper as well and headweight was 15% heavier than the stainless model. I think they would have been V grooves in those days.
