Hello everyone,
Long story short, I started golfing not long ago and I came across Maltby when looking for wedges. I’d like to pick up a 56 degree sand wedge, but am unsure which model (and potentially grind) would be best for a complete beginner. I live in Texas where the ground gets really dry and hard, so I was thinking about the DRT S-grind, but the TSW and Max Milled also look good for various other reasons.
My only concern with forgiving wedges is that maybe they don’t incentivize the best technique? Part of me thinks none of this even matters for someone just starting out. Either way, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
