So, I have an odd question. Which of the current irons (or soon to be released versions) has the most muted sound to them on impact I am trying to find something that not only feels soft but sounds soft as well. For instance, I like the TS1-IM however the sound of the ball hitting the face distracts from the overall feel for me.
Statechamp is correct that feel and sound go together. if you don’t think so, plug your ears and go hit some balls. Totally different feel.
I play the TS4’s and think they feel and sound great. A lot of players have said the same. TS3’s, same feedback. Feel great, sound great. TE+ irons as well. TS1-IM felt and sounded great too, but I do think they had a slightly different sound. Not a worse sound, just slightly different. It’s a high strength stainless face with injected polymer in the head, so that can present a slightly different sound or feel to some people. We have had some players say the KE4 MAX feels like a forged head due to how solid it is and the sound, even though it’s an investment cast head 431 Stainless.
Sound and feel are so individual. Just may have to try one to know if it feels and sounds good to you.

I’ve hit the TS1-IM and I don’t remember a distinct sound with that head.
Feel and sound go together imo and if it feels firmer you’ll likely think the sound is higher.
