Wedges are as individual as your irons or putter. I think the DRT wedges, with all the options, would be the first series I would look at. Evaluate how you use them, the turf conditions you usually play and what you skill level is on the scoring shots and compare with the guidelines we list for each grind. I use the 48G, the 52S and 56S most of the time. I am neutral to shallow in my attack angle and play neutral to slightly soft turf conditions here in Ohio. If it gets firm, definitely stay with the S grind. If it gets really soft, I move to the A grind on the 54 and 56 because of the slightly wider sole. If I’m in Texas, where I grew up, and the conditions are mostly firm, its S grind for sure. Just relate this to illustrate the thought process you should go through when deciding the best option.
So I suggest you do some self evaluating and then take a look at the options.
