In my driver, I currently have a Mitsubishi C6 Blue R shaft 50 that I generally like but I need a little higher trajectory. Would a Pro Series+ be likely to help get a higher trajectory? Should I consider a R or A flex? The C6 provides decent distance and roll. I can’t afford to lose distance. Swing speed 88-90 mph.
After looking a t quite a few shafts in our database, looks like the Pro Series + UL in the R flex is similar in profile, but not sure it would give you more trajectory. The A flex should if you wanted to go that way, even though your swing speed indicates an R flex. The Rapport Core Blue R flex is a little softer in the butt section, but firmer in the tip section, but the deflection number is greater, which indicates it could help with trajectory a little. The A flex is more flexible and like the Pro Series + in an A flex, could be a way to go. Overall flex will have the greatest impact on trajectory, so an A flex will hit it higher. Just depends on how much higher you want to go. one last one is the UST Pro Force V2 HL in the 55 R flex. It is more flexible in the R flex in the total profile than the C6 Blue 50 R, so you could stay with the R flex and it should provide some increased trajectory.
