DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE UST RECOIL DART 70/80 HDC AND THE UST MAMIYA DART V ( I DID GO ON UST’S WEBSITE AND NOTICE THAT THE DART V WAS ONLY SUPPLIED TO TSPX FIRMS, WHATEVER THAT MEANS. THANKS, ALLEN ROBERTS

We do not have the UST Dart V shaft to be able to do our own shaft stiffness profile comparison to the Dart HDC. On their website UST shows the Dart V made in a 90, 105 and 120 gram weight range. In their specifications for the Dart V they also show a 75 gram weight version but do not list that shaft in their write up for the shaft. The Dart V shafts are made from M40X which they say is a high tensel modulus carbon fiber. The HDC shafts are made from what they call a High Density Carbon (HDC) fiber. The Dart V 75 shafts are listed as mid/high launch, the 90 & 105’s a mid launch the the 120’s a mid/low launch. The Dart HDC shafts are all a mid launch shafts. The torque ratings are lower on the Dart V than on the HDC shafts.
