How is Maltby MOI calculated for drivers?
Seeing several other OEM drivers marketing MOI as “10K”, but seems to be by adding heel toe MOI to crown sole MOI to get to the higher (9000-10000) numbers.

Other companies measure multiple orientations so they can say “10K”. The only orientation that matters is the MOI in the playing position, or around it’s CG with the head oriented that way. The USGA actually set a limit of 5900 gm/cm2 with a tolerance of 100, so 6000 g/cm2 is the allowable limit when measured the way it matters. Our Max driver with stock weighting is listed at 4700. Most 460cc drivers that are 200 grams in weight, and most are, will be 4700 to 5200 generally.
Also, the difference in performance one might see between 4700 and 5200 is not that great. Not so much it should drive a decision on which to use. At 460cc with those kind of MOI numbers, drivers are about as forgiving as you can get. Of course, for any individual player, one might perform better than another, might even be more forgiving, when the combination of the head, shaft, fit etc. are dialed in for them.
