FGT is a little larger profile with a different sole grind. The sole is more of a “tour” grind with a little more relief in the hell area of the sole. Probably more suited for neutral to firmer turf conditions and neutral to shallower attack angles. The MAX has tow different sole width options, each with 4 loft options. The .090 sole is a milled, what I would call “neutral” sole with a nice width for better players and those neutral to firmer conditions, but without the relief grind. Because it does not have the extreme ground heel, it still works in softer conditions as well and allows the bounce to work in the sand even when you need to open the face a little. The MAX 1.05 is simply a slightly wider sole and is great for players that need a little more sole forgiveness. It is best suited for neutral to softer turf conditions. Also excellent out neutral to softer sand.

Yes, the FGT can be bent 2+ degrees in loft. Remember, if you bend it 2 degrees stronger, you will reduce the bounce by 2 degrees. Bending 2 degrees weaker, adds 2 degrees to the bounce.
