Hard to say without comparing side by side. They do have the differences you mention and for some those differences may translate is some difference in performance. They are within 2 grams of the same head weight. Generally a #9 wood would be played to a little longer playing length, which should mean you would hit it farther, but since the head weights are so close, the difference in pplaying length might not be a factor. As far as forgiveness, both will be very forgiving and difficult to know for any individual if one would be more forgiving than the other. Technically, the #9 wood has a little higher MOI and longer front to back dimension which are game improvement features. Still, should be very forgiving. The adjustability of the #9 wood is a nice feature and could possibly translate into a more versatile club.
