The Golf Pride CP2 Wrap Jumbo grips are 73 grams vs a 48 gram in the standard size. On the grip end of a club, every 4 grams added will reduce the swing weight of the club by 1 swing weight. So, going to the Jumbo will reduce the swing weight by approximately 6 swing weight points, if you are comparing to a standard grip that weights 48 grams. It doesn’t really change anything except the swing weight and how it may feel to you. The Pro Series Shaft is approximately 9 grams heavier than the Cypher 2.0 in the A flex, and that would make up, or add one swing weight (9 grams of shaft weight = 1 swing weight).
The most important thing is to get the grip size that is comfortable. If we do the build, you can suggest a swing weight and we can add some weight using tip weights back to the head during the build. Depending on the length of the club, there are limits as to how much weight we can or will add, but we can add some and get as close as possible. Generally we do no recommend adding more than 8-10 grams, which would get you back 4 to 5 swing weight points of the 5 or 6 you may loose due to the Jumbo grip.
