A friend hits my New Level gi22 test 7i with Fuji Vista Pro Reg flex extremely well. The gi22 is out of stock. I want to build him a Maltby test club with comparable forgiveness and speed off the club face. Which Maltby head do you recommend I start with?
The gi22 7i is 30* as I remember it. The KE4 max 7i is also 30*. And other than the 890m (now 980m) is the longest blade length of the Maltby irons which would be similar to the gi22 blade length. I made a friend and grandson sets of the gi22 and I have a set of KE4 max that I think are the most similar in forgiveness and ball speed off the face to the gi22.
