I know most companies producing graphite shafts, feel that they have improved graphite shafts to the point that they do not need Purring. I agree graphite has come a long way. I personally feel, it is worth the $25 per club SST Pure, with GolfWorks.

How do you feel about Purring Metal, such as True Temper AMT metal shafts?

I always explain that there is no such thing as a perfectly round and straight golf shaft. The spine alignment process before Puring started with steel shafts. I would always Pure a steel shaft. It is just as important if not more important than Puring a graphite shaft.
